Dry Clean, Hand Wash, or Machine Wash?

Always read the labels before you buy! In most cases, you won't be able to return the item and get your money back. My personal preference is to avoid items that I would have to dry clean as I don't want to pay more for the added service of maintaining it than I did for the clothing itself. Additionally, hand wash and hang dry items are inconveniences to me. With four kids, I just don't have the time to nitpick over laundering my clothing and I prefer items that I can easily throw in my washing machine. So, read the labels carefully and choose wisely based on your own personal preferences.

If you follow these tips then you should be able to get a lot of wear out of your purchases... and receive more value for your money. Be picky about what you buy and shop wisely as no one else but you will know where your clothing really came from. It is possible to have a wardrobe that looks like you spent a small fortune in a department store, if you know what to look for. Remember to have fun, look great, and save money!
