Normally, I'm not a morning person, but for the Directives West Fashion show on Monday 12, 2010, I woke up early. Coffee was all I needed and the show provided the rest of the excitement. It was a 9 AM show, presented at the CMC Fashion Theatre on 9th street. It was a full house and everyone was ready to see the Fall trend preview for 2010.

The fashion shows line up was broken down into categories which I loved: Military Brigade, Worldly Ways, Pretty Charming and The Big Stitch! That's pretty much sums up trends for this 2010 Fall season trends. Try to recreate at least one of the looks and make it your own, of.

Trends and Highlights Contemporary & Juniors:

Lace tights was a major plus for this fall season. Bright colored tights were present as well, and might I add, are awesome accents for striped dresses or even denim shorts. Plaid made a come back and merged with tans, browns, and oranges. Plaids are great for mixing with skinny denim jeans and cropped motorcycle jackets. 

My favorites included: the long frayed, sweater vest and bright magenta colored tights paired with relaxed denim shorts. Oh, and I can't possibly forget slouchy gaucho pants. So comfy and fashiontastic!

Trends and Highlights Kids:

Wow! Kids clothing is just as decked out as adults collection but especially cute. This fall kids will have the opportunity to both ridiculously cute and fashionable too!.

What's in: lace skirts for the young girls, knee boots and one sided ponytails. Accents would include: fur jackets and tutu's, yes tutu's, they are adorable and playful. paired with converse are delicious and kid friendly.
